“The woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has ever been before.” Albert Einstein
Hey Mr. Einstein, I believe in doing both. Not in following a crowd mindlessly as sheep, but because you’re interested in where they’re going. Sometimes others take you to exciting places you’d never find on your own, or their company challenges you to new heights you wouldn’t think you could scale.
But the again, if you never forge out alone, you may find that unchartered territory and realize just what you can do on your own. You may be the only one who does “that thing”….and it may change your life. You may learn that you have courage you never even dreamed about. Life may take on more color, more texture, more truth, if you move away from where everyone else is going.
Walk in the most interesting direction of the moment. Just don’t fall in a rut.
