Love Month – February 23

I love a happy ending.

I was talking to some folks at church today and one of the men (thanks John) said something that I found to be something that is fun to think about. He said he once heard “If you’re not happy, it’s not the ending.”

The more I think about it, the more I love it. When we’re unhappy, we tend to think it’s the end of the world. We think we’re at the edge of the cliff and there’s no where else to go.

But what if you think, “Since it’s not happy, this can’t be the end” – and start looking at that through that lens. How does life change if we don’t focus on the feelings, but the happy future that’s coming? What if we put energy in trying to figure out how to make that happen?

Let’s give it a try this week. And if we reach one happy ending, how long can we stay there – or where will our next happy ending occur?

I love a happy ending. And a happy beginning. I just love happy.

“Every day is an opportunity to make a new happy ending.” –
